Registration

You can try the full-featured version of Carnet for a period of one month. Then, if you decide to keep using it, you must buy a license and register your copy.

Choose the Registration Info... item in the File menu to show the registration options.

To go directly to the web site and register online with a credit card, click the Online Registration on Kagi Secure Web Site... button. It's the simplest and fastest method. The SSL protocol used to encrypt the transaction offers a very good level of security.

If you prefer registering by e-mail, fax or postal mail, click the Kagi Registration (e-mail, fax)... button and follow the instructions of the program.

After registering, you will receive a serial number that will let you personalize your copy and make the reminder messages disappear. These messages appear at the end of the trial period.

Registration also opens your access to free technical support (by e-mail only) and allows you to be informed of the future updates.

Warranty

The program should work as described in this help text. If it is not the case, and if the author can not fix the problem, simply drag the program to the trash and ask for its refund. This warranty is offered for one year after the purchase date.

Otherwise, see the fine print:

In no event shall the author be liable for any damages, regardless of the form of the claim. The person using the software bears all risk as to the quality and performance of the software.
US Government End Users: If you are acquiring the Software and fonts on behalf of any unit or agency of the United States Government, the following provisions apply. The Government agrees:
(i) If the Software and fonts are supplied to the Department of Defence (DoD), the Software and fonts are classified as “Commercial Computer Software” and the Government is acquiring only “restricted rights” in the Software, its documentation and fonts as that term is defined in Clause 252.227-7013(c)(1) of the DFARS; and
(ii) If the Software and fonts are supplied to any unit or agency of the United States Government other than DoD, the Government’s rights in the Software, its documentation and fonts will be as defined in Clause 52.227-19(c)(2) of the FAR or, in the case of NASA, in Clause 18-52.227-86(d) of the NASA Supplement to the FAR.

That said, just send a mail to the author if something goes wrong: support@widemann.net.
