Quick Start

 

Creating a List

If you start Carnet with a double-click on the application's icon, a new and empty list is automatically created.

 

 


You can create a new list anytime. The number of lists is unlimited.


When Carnet creates a new list, it automatically sets it to edit mode on the Company field. The <tab> key moves to the next field, <shift tab> moves back to the previous field.

For now, close this empty list by selecting Close in the File menu. If Carnet suggests saving it, click the Don't Save button.

Open the List Sample installed in the Carnet Folder. To open it, double-click its icon. The list appears on screen:

 

 

The first record is selected in the list. The right part of the window displays the record's entire data.
