Organizing
the List
You may fail to find
the record you want at first. For example, you need to call the salesman
at the MegaSoft computer shop. The salesman's name is Jack Livingstone.
If you haven't memorized his name, you'll find the record more easily
and intuitively by placing it in the list by company.
Select Jack Livingstone's
record. The Company field contains 'MegaSoft'. Using the mouse, click
the small box to the left of the Company field.

See the effect of
that box: the record has moved in the list, it is not placed at
L anymore, it is now at M. From now on, by typing the first
characters of 'MegaSoft', you will instantly find this record without
having to remember the person's name.
Using these two small
arrows, you can decide the position of each record in the list, placed
by name or by company, according to the most natural way to find it.
