Address Books

Page Setup dialog for Address Books

In Carnet the paper format and the printing zone are completely independant. The paper format is defined as usual with the standard items of the Page Setup dialog. The printing zone can be defined to any size by clicking the Printing Zone... button. Thus, it is possible to define and print a page of any format.

Setting the Printing Zone

The default printing zone is the same as the default paper size in your printer. Avoid setting a size larger than the paper: Carnet will let you do it, but the result will probably not be what you want.

This complete independance between printing zone and paper size permits to create any template format and size. In most cases, there is no need to change the paper format in Carnet, but only to set the printing zone and the orientation.

The printing zone can be split in 2, 3 or 4 sub-pages by clicking the appropriate icon.

If Print cropping marks is checked, Carnet prints small guides to help cutting the sub-pages after printing.

The Address Book Options... button shows a dialog to set the 'book' object's options. See also Template objects.
