This option only regards the printing order of the fields within a record, it doesn't affect the records sorting. Records are always printed in the order they appear in the list. |
Print leading dots: This option prints dots between the name and the first number.
Print addresses: Uncheck this option to not print addresses.
Ignore returns within addresses: When this option is checked, returns within addresses are converted to spaces while printing. Thus, addresses are printed on a single line.
Print notes: Uncheck this option to not print notes.
Ignore returns within notes: When this option is checked, returns within notes are converted to spaces while printing. This makes the notes use a lot less lines on paper, but can also badly reduce their legibility.
Print categories: Uncheck this option to not print categories.
Print at most (n) lines per record: Enter here the maximum number of line to print per record. This allows to print only a small part of the notes to shrink a small pocket-sized address book. Enter 999 in the field to print the notes in entirety.
|
If you put a
§ character in the notes field, the text following it will
not be printed. Using this feature, you can precisely control in
each record what should be printed and what should not. |
Separate records, with a blank space, with a horizontal line: Select the separation mode. Separated records are easier to read, but use more paper.
New page when initial changes: When this option is checked, Carnet starts a new page when the current initial changes.
Beside the above options, the 'book' object is handled like a text object regarding to font, size, style, etc. You can move it and resize it freely.
